Answer the call of the open road: the roar of an engine at full throttle, the rush of pushing a racing machine to its limits, the slicing wind that only comes to those fast enough – the worlds of automobiles and rallies once again serve as inspiration for Azimuth.

Channeling the ferocious and fantastical spirit of motor racing for 2017, Azimuth rolls out the new Gran Turismo, a statement-making timepiece that oozes contemporary charm while paying tribute to the iconic four-wheelers of yesteryears.

A sculptural work of art, the Azimuth GT is distinguished by a wholly unique case, flaunting curves that recall the profile of vintage cars, sharing the same design blueprint as its predecessor, the Twin Turbo, which was launched in 2016.

Testing the aesthetic and technical limits of automobile-inspired watches, the Azimuth GT case silhouette references the curvaceous bonnets of retro Porsche 911s from the 1960s. Elsewhere, the Gran Turismo’s striking dial – positioned at an inclined angle to allow drivers to easily check the time while on the road – is a nod to the larger-than-life speedometer displays found on Mini Cooper dashboards.
